If you’ve stumbled upon this blog, welcome. I’m a writer with two passports, born and raised in New Zealand and based in London. Nothing makes me happier than travelling; travel opens minds and doors.
Nelson’s Column is my travel journal and, like a lot of journals, it’s not always kept up to date (note: must make more time!), but to find my work published elsewhere see clairenelson.co.uk. And get in touch here.
By day I work on a food magazine – not a strange choice since food and travel seem to happen together most of the time. The subject of what and how we eat is close to my heart, and I am constantly looking to taste new things. I only hope this blog will justify my terribly shameful habit of photographing everything I eat.
Bon appetit and happy travels.
